Edinburgh Instruments Installs Laser in Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory

Optical spectroscopy instrumentation developer Edinburgh Instruments Ltd. has installed its FIRL100 CO2/FIR (THz) laser system in the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HLD) of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) German research facility to extend its frequency range. The FIRL-100 laser will be used for multi-frequency pulsed-field electron spin resonance spectroscopy of strongly correlated magnets including low-dimensional and frustrated spin systems, high-Tc superconductors, and related compounds and multiferroics, among other items. The FIRL-100 features both...Read full article
