CyVerse to Transition to New Supercomputing System

AUSTIN, Texas, June 12, 2017 — CyVerse, a federation of the University of Arizona, Texas Advanced Computing Center, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the University of North Carolina Wilmington, will transition its high-performance computing (HPC) systems to Stampede2, a new, large-scale supercomputing system funded by the National Science Foundation. The system has been deployed at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at the University of Texas at Austin.
