Lasos Installs North American Support in San Diego

Dec 2015JENA, Germany, Dec. 10, 2015 — Lasos Lasertechnik GmbH now offers direct service to North America with the appointment of Lynn Strickland as a business development and customer support provider in San Diego.

Strickland has worked in the photonics industry for more than 30 years, holding senior-level positions in general management, business development, product management and technical marketing for firms such as Idex Corp., Melles Griot, CVI Laser Optics and Coherent.

"Without an intermediary distributor, our ability to streamline communications and provide high-value solutions will be greatly enhanced," said Juergen Meyer, CEO and managing director of Lasos. 

Lasos develops and manufactures solid-state and gas lasers in the UV-VIS spectrum with a focus on OEM applications in biophotonics, Raman spectroscopy and holography.
