Cambridge Lasers Ltd was founded in 1982, next to the emerging Science Park in Cambridge, England. In 1989 Cambridge Lasers Laboratories LLC was established in Silicon Valley specializing in the manufacture of Ion Lasers. In 2002 we acquired the assets, trademarks and intellectual property of LEXEL™ Laser, along with key members of LEXEL™ engineering personnel.

For 15 years Cambridge has made significant improvements to the original LEXEL™ ion lasers. We not only manufacture 100% of LEXEL™ ion lasers here in the United States, but our commitment to always improving our quality has made LEXEL™ laser systems the most reliable ion laser systems in the world.

New for 2018 is the LEXEL QUANTUM SHG deep-UV laser and PRISM series lasers, specifically designed for today’s demanding applications like Resonance Raman Spectroscopy. Our goal for these new products – ease of use, performance, versatility, reliability and longer lifetimes. The result – a resounding success.
