cascade method

A heterochromatic photometric process using successive comparison of similar chromaticities and the calculation of relative luminances of unlike chromaticities as the product of ratios of luminances of intervening pairs. In this method, a photometric field is divided into two adjacent parts that are irradiated by energy from different sources.
