A five-axis optical laser wrist system released by Haas Laser Technologies Inc. for industrial applications is available with either a 25- or 50-mm clear aperture. Its universal design allows integration with any computer numerical control system. Features include independent autofocus axis with capacitive height sensing, and attachments for a welding/cladding head and a cutting/drilling head. The system can be used with high- and low-power Nd:YAG and CO2 lasers.
