fFoThe FOS-79800E fiber optic source module designed by ILX Lightwave for use with its FOM-7900B multichannel fiber optic test system is suitable for active and passive wavelength division multiplexing system and component test applications. Users can choose power levels from 9 to 20 mW, and center wavelengths from 1475 to 1625 nm on ITU grid points. Features include picometer resolution, coherence and dual-stage temperature control, an optional source shutter and PM alignment. The company says the module offers exceptional stability and accurate attenuation for gain flatness testing.
