l7The Avia 355-7000, introduced by Coherent Laser Div., is a frequency-tripled, Q-switched, diode-pumped solid-state UV laser. Offering power greater than 7 W at 40 kHz, the laser is suitable for high-speed materials processing, including micromachining and micro-via drilling for the electronics packaging industry. The Avia 355-7000 can replace existing Avia lasers because the size of the heads has remained consistent. The instrument offers variable repetition rates and ThermEQ thermal equalization. It features a pulse width of <40 ns up to 60 kHz while maintaining pulse-to-pulse stability.
