Newport Corp. offers a product line composed of two systems that are based on its Chameleon technology. The Cognito I, II and III are suitable for use in ultrahigh-precision measurement and inspection applications on a submicron level and for photonic devices, including laser diodes, diffractive and refractive optics and filters. They have a modular design that allows rapid changing of camera, filters and other components. The Onyx I, II and III systems are designed for low-resolution applications and for measuring features on fiber optic and photonic devices such as laser weld clips, fibers, fiber ferrules and packaging components.
