NanoDrop Technologies Inc. has introduced the NanoDrop spectrophotometer for accurate measurement of 1-µl samples. Suitable for field use, the compact battery-powered device performs general UV/VIS spectrophotometry and can measure high absorbances without dilution. The instrument measures the concentration and quality of nucleic acid samples and determines the dye label concentration of DNA microarray samples. It uses a PC that runs on Windows 98SE or -ME, to control operation and to display results.
