OZ Optics Ltd. is offering a temperature-controlled laser diode housing. Consisting of an emitter, driver electronics and beam output optics, the unit is also available with an optional internal Peltier cooler and controller. The control electronics for the Peltier cooler include a sensor on the cold side to maintain set temperature, and a sensor on the hot side to protect the diode and unit from damage in cases of insufficient heat sinking. Laser diode temperature can be set by the user.
