ltoolsThe HL 101P and the HL 201P, pulsed solid-state lasers available from Haas-Laser Technologies Inc., are designed for precision cutting and drilling. The laser pulse can vary from 80 µs to 1 ms long, and the performance is adjustable to 8 kW on the 101P and to 18 kW on the 201P. The company says the devices offer excellent pulse-to-pulse stability. The quality transmitted by a fiber optic beam delivery system allows for a cut kerf width of 50 µm and hole drilling depths of up to 25 mm. Both of the lasers feature a remote control device that can register up to 600 measurements.
