The OL 770-LED from Optronic Laboratories Inc. is a CCD-based, high-speed multichannel spectroradiometer that performs optical power, color and goniometric measurements of LED components. The control electronics, internal spectrograph and detector are housed in a rugged portable enclosure. The instrument, which is capable of more than 25 scans per second, is equipped with RS-232 and USB interfaces, eliminating the need for a PC plug-in card. The company says the spectrograph's precision optics deliver low stray light, high spectral resolution and excellent wavelength accuracy. The lightweight, small-footprint instrument is suitable for production environments, especially where portability is needed.
