Gigahertz-Optik Inc. has announced the HCT-99 color meter, which measures illuminance, correlated color temperature and X,Y/U,V chromaticity coordinates. The compact device offers precise X,Y,Z color matching and has two separate detectors for Xshort and Xlong functions. The meter is controlled with three front-panel function switches or remotely through the USB interface. Windows-compatible software is available for readout and for storage of the measure values using a PC. It has an ergonomically designed handheld package and a high-contrast display.
Optional integrating spheres, lenses and detector heads can be used to extend the measurement capabilities.
