The CV-A1 progressive-scan camera offers 1392 x 1040-pixel analog output and a remote, "switchless" setup via an RS-232C interface. This camera from JAI A/S measures 29 x 44 x 66 mm and has a 1/2-in. CCD sensor that operates at 16 fps. Software-configurable partial scan/binning capability allows the rate to be increased to a maximum of 124 fps for applications that don't require full-frame vertical resolution. The analog interface allows several cameras to be multiplexed at the frame grabber input. Up to four cameras can be simultaneously triggered and read out in sequence by multiplexing the analog signal in frame-delay readout mode. Other trigger modes include edge preselect, pulse width control and smearless.
