Featuring a 30-mW frequency-stabilized output, the laser has no side modes and is free from spontaneous radiation. It operates at 780 ±2 nm and produces a circularized, low-astigmatism beam with a near-Gaussian profile. In addition, the system features true single-mode operation, producing clear Raman spectra to less than 100 cm21, even with long integration times.
