Opotek Inc. is offering the Finesse, a narrow-line tunable OPO laser system designed for laser-induced fluorescence, remote sensing, lidar and high-resolution spectroscopy. The device is composed of a single longitudinal mode OPO, which is injection-seeded by an external-cavity diode laser. A computer-controlled PZT automatically adjusts the OPO cavity length, and all of the system functions are automated, including output power, wavelength tuning and scanning. Wavelength, linewidth and output energies are monitored and displayed on a computer screen in real time. Models that operate in the visible, ultraviolet and infrared are available.
