TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Heraeus Sensor-Nite GmbH offers the P-FC 0805 flip-chip sensor on a printed circuit board for measuring temperatures in liquids. The board is available in two designs, measuring 4 x 22 and 2.5 x 2.2 mm, for liquid temperature control between 0 and 150 °C. The company says the sensor's design considerably reduces the heat discharge error and allows constant measurement, even at small depths. The board can be soldered in an automated process, eliminating the need for the shrinkage procedure for insulating the cable.
