Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc. has launched the MU fiber connector series, which features a small-form- factor configuration. The lightweight connectors are available in 2-mm or 900-µm fiber and offer high impact resistance, push-pull operation and scalability. Applications include high-speed data communications, CATV networks, test equipment and dense WDM telecommunications systems. Simplex and vertical duplex MU adapters are available in either ceramic or metal sleeves.
