Designed for precision automated spot welding applications, the K series of Nd:YAG laser sources from Laservall North America LLC is available in power ranges from 20 to more than 70 W. Microprocessor-controlled software enables the user to optimize laser parameters for each application according to the metal or alloy being used. The device's RS-232 port permits remote data downloads and manipulation. Pulse stability is obtained through an optical feedback system that monitors and adjusts laser emission throughout the flashlamp's longevity. Pulse filling and modeling capabilities control the welds' quality, strength and physical appearance.
