Cockrill Precision Products offers mounting rings for finishing and protecting the edges of lenses, filters, gratings, pellicles and mirrors. The aluminum mounting rings are machined to ±0.05 mm and are black anodized to provide a nonreflective surface. They have an internal recess that holds the optics and are available in single- and double-sided and two-piece configurations that fit within each other. The rings are offered with outer diameters from 9 to 50 mm, with depths from 0.75 to 7 mm and with walls that are 0.2 to 0.5 mm thick.
