Scanlab AG says that its gridScan calibration set can determine image field distortions precisely and provide correction data quickly and on location. System requirements include Windows 95/98/NT4/2000 operation, and a flatbed scanner with optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and physical resolution minimum of 600 x 1200 dpi. The set includes sample files, a utility program for creating test patterns for use with the Scanlab RTC2/RTC3 PC interface boards and a reference grid for calibrating the flatbed scanner. Image field size and position can be adjusted manually.
