Customized aspheric mirrors for use in beam expanders and telescopes are available from Space Optics Research Labs (SORL). Designed for applications with a narrow field of view, the aspheric mirrors are available in sizes up to 40 in. in diameter and with a wavefront accuracy of λ/20. The substrates are offered in silicon, copper, aluminum and Zerodur, a low-expansion ceramic material. The optical elements are custom-ground and -polished for specific application requirements.
