The Model COI-CIZ is an optically compensated lens system that performs 4 zoom with one moving part. This MWIR lens from Computer Optics Inc. has a focal length of 50 to 200 mm at f/4.3 and operates in the 3- to 5-µm spectral band. It weighs <700 g and is 63 mm in diameter and 135 mm long. Other features include a 17.78-mm image diagonal and a field of view of 20° to 5°. The rear group of optics is designed for conversion to other formats. The lens is suitable for FLIR and reconnaissance applications and for use in MWIR fire control systems.
