The Model 615 frame grabber from Sensoray Co. simultaneously captures images from four of its 16 input channels and queues them for jpeg compression. This device has a throughput of 30 and 25 fps for NTSC and PAL image formats, respectively. It uses a 16 x 4 crosspoint video switch and four decoders with individual frame buffers, allowing cycling through all 16 input channels at full capture rate without losing frames during channel switching. Model 615 accepts video sources from nonsynchronized cameras, and it buffers interlaced images before compression.
