The Uniblitz CS45 shutter from Vincent Associates has a 45-mm aperture that fits into a 4-in.-diameter housing. The small-form-factor shutter also is available in an unhoused OEM version and is electronically programmed to fire specific exposures at precise time intervals. Suitable for use in CCD and video cameras and for low-level laser switching, the device incorporates an actuator system that can be driven with existing Uniblitz VMM drive units. Optionally, the shutter can be equipped with an electronic synchronization system or with polished stainless steel reflective blades for gating high-intensity light sources.
