The LK series power supplies from Glassman High Voltage Inc. are suitable for x-ray, e-gun, accelerator and other applications that require 3 kW of output. They are CE Mark-certified and can be used with the RS-232 digital interface option. Requiring only a single-phase input, they offer adjustable output voltage from 40 to 100 kV, low ripple and noise, high-speed dynamic voltage regulation and active power factor correction. The devices are based on proprietary air-insulation technology, which, the company says, results in better reliability and serviceability than models that use silicon rubber, epoxy or oil. Arc sensing and quench circuitry protect the power supply and the customer load.
