The Mikros pen from EFD Inc. is suitable for dispensing two-part epoxies, ultraviolet-cure adhesives and other high-performance assembly fluids, while reducing waste. It features a disposable 0.25-cc fluid reservoir tip that attaches to a lightweight aluminum handle that can be maneuvered as a writing instrument. The pen provides microdeposits as small as 0.007 in. in diameter when combined with its microprocessor-based dispenser. The device allows material to be mixed in small batches and consumed before its working time expires.
