LASER DIODE DRIVERS

The 5000 Series Advanced Laser Diode Drivers from Newport Corp. feature 16-bit resolution and low noise, and are available with maximum current outputs of 500 mA, 3 A or 6 A. The drivers have an internal function generator that is programmable from 200 Hz to 300 kHz with either sine wave or square wave output. The system is suitable for generating datacom and telecom test tones for system evaluation. IEEE-488 and RS-232C interfaces are included. The Model 3040 Advanced Temperature Controller also is available.
