The ALS-06 offered by Ancal Inc. is a fiber optic light source designed to provide reliable illumination for spectroscopic and radiometry measurements. The system includes a high-intensity quartz halogen lamp, a soft start circuit, a regulated power package and a collimator lens. The ALS-06 allows the user to install a number of types of filters, including solar simulation, IR blocking and color filters. The color temperature of the source is 2800 K.
