A narrow-linewidth tunable distributed feedback fiber laser that offers combined thermal and piezoelectric wavelength tuning or stabilization has been released by Koheras A/S. The Adjustik C15 is available in the 1.02- to 1.20-µm and 1.52- to 1.61-µm ranges with a linewidth down to 1 kHz, >300-pm slow-tuning capability, and 100-pm fast-tuning range with up to 10-kHz bandwidth. The laser requires a 110/220-V power supply and can be purchased as an OEM or turnkey option with integrated control electronics. Applications include spectroscopy, frequency locking, sensor interferometry, and test and measurement equipment such as optical frequency domain reflectometers.
