The cmosSamBa HR-130 from Sensovation AG is a 1.3-megapixel camera designed for applications where high resolution is needed but space is limited. The CMOS image sensor, which is housed in a 25 x 25 x 25-mm remote head with a C-mount, offers 1280 x 1024 pixels, 30-fps operation, synchronous snapshot shutter, three-step integrated data processing, programmable digital binning or windowing and 10-bit resolution. The camera also is available in a Peltier-cooled version, the cmosSamBa HR-130c, which has reduced dark current for longer exposure times. The company says the cameras' array sensors have enough calculation power to acquire images and evaluate data in real time.
