Master Bond Inc. has released a two-component epoxy adhesive for bonding metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubber and plastic. EP72M3 is formulated to cure at room temperature or more rapidly at higher temperatures. The adhesive has a 1:1 mix ratio by weight or volume, and high impact resistance and peel strength. The hardened adhesive is an electrical insulator, and the bonds are resistant to thermal cycling and chemicals, including water, gasoline, oils, greases and other petroleum products.
