The TU series Ti:sapphire lasers provide tuning from 700 to 1000 nm and from 500 to 193 nm with repetition rates up to 10 kHz. Photonics Industries International Inc. says the devices emit millijoules of energy with a narrow linewidth. Autotracking technology enables computer scanning for fundamental wavelength tuning and for second-, third- and fourth-harmonic output. The minimized dispersive optical components in the laser cavity enhance wavelength stability. Applications include lidar, laser-induced fluorescence, and mass, multiphoton, Raman and time-resolved spectroscopy.
