Alps Electric Co. Ltd. offers a range of aspheric molded glass lenses integrated with a stainless steel holder that can be welded with a YAG laser. The stainless steel holder provides high coupling efficiency and greater reliability.
Standard units are available in 25 models and 49 variations to meet a broad range of applications, such as coupling lenses for transmission and reception collimator lenses. The main wavelength bands are 1.5 and 1.3 µm.
Other features include efficient coupling with no aberration and minimum dispersion, and the lenses are easy to install by YAG or resistance welding. The reflective coating practically eliminates deterioration under high temperatures and humidity. Standard and custom designs are available to suit your laser diode specifications.
