photodiode array Advanced Photonix Inc.'s 100-element linear photodiode array features a mask that blocks any light outside the pixels for improved spatial fidelity and resolution. The device is directly hybridized with 1-M(omega)-gain transimpedance amplifiers and is mounted on a single printed circuit board that measures 4 x 7 in. Each detector element is connected to its TIA using an AC coupling scheme to filter out signals from DC ambient light levels. Specifications include a pixel size of 0.045 x 0.050 mm with a pitch of 0.055 mm and a spectral range of 350 to 1100 nm.
