RECIRCULATING CHILLERS
Boyd Corp.
Lytron Inc. has improved the temperature stability of its Kodiak recirculating chillers to a typical ±0.05 °C. The temperature stabilization time also was reduced fivefold, and the response to a setpoint change is now immediate. The company made these improvements via changes to its proprietary PID controller software. The pressure units can be set independent of the temperature units. The chillers can be used to cool medical and laboratory equipment, lasers, analytical instruments and machine tools.
