COMPACT SERVO DRIVER Cambridge Technology Inc. designed the MicroMax Servo Driver 677XX for use with its 6200XX and 6800 lines of advanced optical galvanometer scanners. The device measures 2 x 2.5 in. and features enhanced offset adjustment capability, automatic gain control, low-noise system damping, linearity compensation and high-stability components. It also offers differential analog output, flexible power supply configurations and positioning control options for optimizing positioning angles, speed and accuracy. This single-axis driver is suitable for laser scanning applications, including materials processing and medical instrumentation. The company says that system position, velocity and error output signals enable easy, accurate integration into complex scanning system applications.
