UV-NIR ANALYSIS The HR2000CG-UV-NIR spectrometer from Ocean Optics Inc. features a proprietary grating and an order-sorting filter for broad-range, high-resolution absorbance, reflectance, transmission and irradiance measurements. The preconfigured modular device has a small footprint and provides measurements from 200 to 1100 nm with an optical resolution of approximately 1.0 nm (FWHM). It can be used with the company's light sources, sampling accessories, optical fiber and software to create complete UV-NIR systems. The HR2000CG-UV-NIR interfaces to a PC via a USB or RS-232 port. Applications include dissolution testing, light emission and reflection measurements, color analysis, and LED and femtosecond laser characterization.
