Gradient Lens Corp.'s LARS/200 diode laser measurement system will be made and marketed by LaserMax Inc. as Nano-Trak. This self-contained system, which eliminates the need for separate lasers, interferometers, receivers and electronics modules, can be mounted in a V-block or a permanent mounting clamp. Nano-Trak uses a simplified detection scheme based on a differential polarization Michelson interferometer. Output signals are TTL-compatible square waves that work with many commercial motion controllers.
