Sarnoff Corp. has introduced a 14-bit CCD UV camera module with a fill factor of 100% for applications such as evaluating optical coatings and developing subsystems for submicron IC inspection equipment. This back-illuminated camera is sensitive in the 157- to 351-nm range and has a resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels and rates of ±100 fps. The company says the device provides high linearity and stability and offers uniformity across the image. Other formats and frame rates are available.
