High-intensity green and blue LEDs at 430, 450 and 470 nm are available from Laser Components (UK) Ltd. Manufactured by Photonic Detectors Inc., they can be used in medical electronics equipment, displays, color printers and analytical scanners. Package configurations include plastic-lensed and flattop T1, T1¾ and SOT-23 surface mounts. A TO-46 hermetic package with viewing angles ranging from 15° to 60° also is available.
