The PL-A650 and -A660 series digital cameras feature Kodak's ½-in., 1.3-megapixel sensors with 1280 x 1024-pixel arrays and square 6-µm pixels. Available from PixeLink in color and monochrome versions, the cameras have FireWire connections and can display real-time digital video and capture still images directly to the computer. No frame grabber is required. The devices come with PixeLink Capture software, which controls all camera functions and allows users to set the exposure, white balance, gamma, and color saturation or monochrome gain.
