UV/VIS CURING Exfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. offers a UV/VIS adhesive spot-curing system for manual precision assembly. The Exfo Lite system has an iris adjustment feature that allows users to select intensity levels. The optical filters can be changed externally for various applications, which protects heat-sensitive substrates. The company says that the system provides long lamp life, and that the internal controls maintain optimum operating conditions for reliable, repeatable cures. The output intensity and exposure times can be set from the front panel and the nine-pin I/O port enables the system to be controlled externally.
