Syruspro thin-film high-vacuum coating systems are available from Leybold Optics GmbH. The company says the modular systems provide the flexibility, efficiency and reliability necessary to achieve demanding optical properties such as transmittance, reflectance, absorption and scattering for lenses, mirrors and filters. They feature an electron-beam gun with a deflection system that is fully integrated into the process controller, and include a digitally controlled and pulse-rated electron-beam power supply for detecting and counteracting arcing. The Syruspro also features the Advanced Plasma Source for plasma ion-assisted deposition and a photometer for monitoring optical film thickness in a spectral range of 240 to 2400 nm.
