Koheras A/S has introduced a frequency-locked version of its narrow-linewidth DFB fiber laser systems. The device operates in the 1.02- to 1.20- and 1.52- to 1.61-µm wavelength bands and provides a spectral width down to 1 kHz or less and 1 MHz/1000 s frequency stability. Available as an OEM or turnkey system with integrated control electronics and a 110/220-V power supply, the fiber laser system has applications in spectroscopy, optical spectrum analyzer calibration, wavelength meter referencing and calibration, and tunable laser wavelength locking and calibration.
