Flir Systems has introduced a compact infrared camera for industrial automation. The ThermoVision A20V features multiple connectivity interfaces, real-time 14-bit digital output, an uncooled microbolometer detector and a standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection. The camera is designed to operate for long periods in harsh environments. It provides high-resolution long-wave images for distinguishing thermal variances as small as 0.12 °C and real-time scanning at standard video rates (60 Hz) for imaging thermally transient events. A LabView toolkit and C++ Visual Basic support are included.
