Edmund Industrial Optics Edmund Industrial Optics has released a near-IR analog camera that works in the 1460- to 1625-nm range. The device's high-resolution CCD array has been treated with a phosphor coating, which enables it to perform in the near-IR region more cost-effectively than other detector technologies, according to the company. Its high-speed electronic shutter facilitates attenuation of high-level signals, and video output is available as an EIA signal format via a BNC connector on the back panel. The 34 X 37 X 64.6-mm camera is suitable for applications such as laser alignment, telecommunications testing and on- and off-line inspection.
