A polarization-based filter technology that enhances color in display applications such as organic LEDs, active-matrix liquid crystal displays and cathode ray tubes is being offered by ColorLink Inc. Unlike rare-earth glasses, ColorCorrect filters can be designed to precisely correct color rendition for a given application. The company says that its patented nonabsorptive technology enables high transmission and durability. The filters can be combined with the company's ColorLink products to provide color and contrast enhancement.
