PicoQuant GmbH PicoQuant GmbH has introduced a 375-nm high-power picosecond pulsed diode laser. The compact integrated turnkey system contains a one-channel or multichannel dedicated driver box with an internal pulse clock that operates at a maximum of 40 MHz. The interchangeable laser heads are available from 375 to 440 nm and 635 to 1500 nm, and with collimator optics that can be fitted with optical fibers. The diode laser, which has a center wavelength of 375 ±5 nm and repetition rates from single shot to 40 MHz, is suitable for optical storage, semiconductor characterization, time-correlated photon counting and biotechnology applications such as fluorescence lifetime imaging, fluorescence energy transfer and single-molecule spectroscopy.
